Lately I've been feeling a tad discouraged. Some posters on H!O have brought up some very valid points about why it's not the best idea to try out for this if you aren't a Japanese citizen.

If I do get in, I have to make it to Japan myself for the auditions. I don't have the money (even if I saved up for like years before this I wouldn't have near enough), and I don't want to put that burden on my parents. They said yes to my auditioning and I'm surprised they did.

If I make it further (don't really see why I would at this point but) I have no idea what I'm going to do. As previously established, I CAN'T get the money to fly to Japan. The FAQ states I need to provide my own transportation, why the hell would Tsunku care enough to fly me out there?

It's extremely stressful. I wanted to do this and I still want to do this but I never put enough thought into it, as much as I thought I did, which is humiliating to admit.

What's done is done, though. If I get through and I can't get to Japan, nothing happens. If I don't get through, nothing happens. If I get through and I can get to Japan, we'll see. I just don't know right now.

Sorry everyone, but I needed to let this out somewhere.

yeah~ I thought about that stuff too. I thouht tsunku would supply transportation.. and if we do get to go there we'd miss a bigg ap of school probably and its a long flight... and like u said, if tsunku wanted an american he'd probably would have auditions here. but maybe by us trying out he'll consider it.. isn't the next round when we mail in a video singing? maybe someone could convince him.. if not lets do it beckii style! haha

I need to realize that not making this audition is not the end of the world, and If I made it I have no idea what I would do.
It's too selfish making my family stop their lives just for me.

If it is your dream, u should continue to hope and reach it.. If u do happen to get selected, your not going to go to Japan right away.. There are other rounds, or so I think.. Tanaka Reina had to send a video first.. ( she sang Do! It Now! <33) It may be Febuary or March before he holds them in Japan.. I have cheerleading so I cant get a job but If you dont have one you should get one to save up.. it cost like $1,370 per person for a round trip and to stay in a hotel.. I cant really afford that but if u are asked to go there u prob. have a great chance of making it... go to yahoo.com and click on travel.. see how muchit would cost u.. If u do go.. It'd be like a vacation!! I always wanted to go to Japan.. but if it doesn't happen, find another wayy...

Has anyone gotten any notification about the auditions so far?

I heard that their starting to tell people in Japan who made it, but i have a feeling we have atleast a week to wait.

omgoshh when I saw someone talked here I thought results were in or things were final. haha. I hope they tell us. It might be a little difficult sine we're all over and far..

dont feel like logging on. they sent me a message like the 20th of sep. but I never got it cuz I was checking the wrong email it said that they got it and to keep up w/ the site? i translated it so it was a bit confusing
